Saturday 12th

July 2008.

Tree Workshop at the Offwell Woodland Education Centre.  Led by Barbara Corker.  Meet at the log cabin at 10.30 and bring a packed lunch.   Aimed at beginners and families.   Children free.

Every Wednesday in the Summer Holidays.

Family Discovery Days.  Events to include pond dipping and woodland exploration. Meet at the Woodland Education Centre.  Numbers are limited and so advance booking is essential – visit www.offwell.info or telephone Lucy Morton (01404-831881).    

Saturday 27th September 2008.

A Spider Day at the Offwell Woodland Education Centre. Led by Peter Smithers at 11.00. Numbers limited, please book in advance (Tel. 01404-831375).

Saturday25th October 2008.

Fungal Foray at the Offwell Woodland Education Centre.  Led by Jeff Benn.  Meet at the log cabin at 10.30 and bring a packed lunch.

Thursday12th December 2008

Twelfth Annual Lecture in Offwell Village Hall.  To be given by the world- renowned botanist Sir Ghillean Prance in Offwell Village Hall, starting at 7.30.

Please note that the £2 charge that now applies to non-members attending our field events will not be levied on the members of any organisation that is a corporate member of OELink.

 

Everyone attending events at the Woodland Education Centre must wear appropriate clothing and footwear


For many events, it would be useful to bring a field guide and hand lens if you have them.
